Dominic has been incredibly helpful thus far, listening to my issues/concerns and offering perspectives with neutrality and professionalism. I'm going through a very difficult part of my life and glad to have him there to listen each week and also offer some perspective and coping mechanisms.

An EMDR-Trained therapist is required to 20 hours of in-classroom training, 20 hours of direct supervised practice, and at least 10 hours of direct clinical supervision with a EMDR Institute approved Supervisor. There are no "levels" when it comes to EMDR training. There are EMDR-Trained therapists and there are EMDR-Certified therapists. EMDR-Certified Therapists are subject to the same requirements as EMDR-Trained therapists, but additionally they need 50 hours of supervised practice, 20 hours of consultation with an EMDR Certified Therapist, and 12 hours of continuing education units every 2 years.
